Free content is dead if John Riccitiello has anything to say about it

Talking at his investor call, EA's John Riccitiello announced not only that he's thinking about letting people pay for additional Spore content, but also dreaming about a dedicated Spore division inside EA, much like what has happened with The Sims.

"I would love to imagine that two years from now or a year from now the debate is whether or not we need a 'Spore' label inside of EA,"

Oh yea, let's hope for tons of useless Spore expansions that add clothing and such for your creatures...

Yep, this is typical EA, milking out this game, I agree completely.
I considered buying it, but because of these annoying EA-politics I have second thoughts.
