Star Trek Online opens doors to beta
Posted on Friday, 4 September 2009 by Zembla, source: Star Trek Online
It seems like things are shifting into a higher gear over at Cryptic Studios. Especially in light of them announcing they will now be accepting applications for the closes beta of their upcoming MMO Star Trek Online.
Apart from a few screens it has been quiet about the game for a while now. If you're really psyched to find out some extra details on the game though, I'm sure this link to the beta application form will cover your needs. Things won't all be fun and games however, seeing as the developers stated they're counting on the fans to actually help them clean out the bugs, and thus prepare the game for launch. For now it are only the applications that can be filed though, the beta itself will start later this year. Those lucky enough to get selected to enter the beta will get all the necessary info once the beta goes live later this year.
If the odds don't strike you as favorable, there's always one other thing you can do. It seems people who have bought a six months or a livelong subscription to Champions online will be allowed into the beta automatically. Who says betas come at a price?
