Star Wars Galaxies is no more
Sony Online Entertainment after eight years pulled the plug on Star Wars: Galaxies - An Empire Divided.
As announced earlier, the last servers have been taken offline. This of course to make room for Star Wars: The Old Republic, the new MMO that should rock the fans of the series.
The game was launched in June 2003 and was a cooperation between Sony and LucasArts. Producer Tony Tyson put up a message on the official site to say goodbye:
