StarCraft II beta ends May 31

Blizzard Entertainment announced that the insanely popular multiplayer beta test for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty will come to an end at the end of this month.

The company says it needs several weeks to prepare for the launch on July 27th. During this period a number of software and hardware changes will be implemented. When those major changes are over, the beta will be opened up again in the weeks before the release.

I've been playing quite a lot of the beta so stay tuned for Fragland's opinion on the next big thing from Blizzard.

You're right, I'll have to slap daffeh for that :) I changed the title to make it say the correct month! Beware though, daffeh has been playing so much SC2 that he's lost complete track of time & reality ;)
