Starcraft 2 doesn't need permanent internet connection
Don't worry that the box cover states you need an internet connection to be able to play StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. Kotaku has received word from Blizzard Entertainment that you only need internet for online multiplayer and an initial activation check-in:
"An initial activation check-in is required, which we also have been mentioning since BlizzCon and even before that. The campaign and other solo aspects of the game are still playable offline after your initial activation."
There you have it. Eventhough the box states internet is required, it doesn't mean "permanent" internet (if you play offline)In other news:
