Starcraft 2 for free in Korea!

Everyone outside South Korea can get jealous now! Or maybe not.

Blizzard Entertainment announced at a recent StarCraft II event in Seoul that subscribers for World of Warcraft will be able to play Starcraft 2 for free as long as their WoW account remains active. Beware though, as the pricing/business model in Korea is quite different from what we're used to over here and Blizzard will no doubt continue to make tons of money.

Those without a WoW subscription of course still have to pay solely for Starcraft 2:
The full game can be purchased for 69,000 won (about US $57), but more importantly, a 9,900 won monthly pass will also be available, and breaking it down even further, a 2,000 won pass for 24 hours of play. The game will sit on the player's hard drive and will be unlocked for play whenever a pass is purchased.
Would you like a pricing model like the one above?
