Starcraft in 3D
This is already old news for some, but I don't think the majority of Starcrafter's or other people that might be interested know about it.
SupremeStarcraft.com have posted an interview with Vortexteam about their upcoming mod of WarCraft 3. Their goal is to make a StarCraft-mod for this succesfull RTS called 'Project Revolution'. They're already more then halfway finished and have no reasons to suddenly shut it down. This project was attempted earlier by the people of Starcraft3d.com, but they did not succeed in completing the game.

progamer.ru: How much will the graphics be StarCraft-like?
Project Revolution: We'll try to make the graphics identical. Perhaps, the animation menu will be a little different, but the game will be as close to the original as possible, you can see it in the screenshots. In fact, we want to copy the whole atmosphere of the game, not just the graphics. This is why the game will be using the original sounds and music.
The mod will be focusing on the multiplayer mode of course, since that is what made StarCraft such a great game. It's not released yet, but SupremeStarcraft had a chat with one of the modders.
