Steam crosses line of 5 million concurrent users
Origin still has some work to do.
Valve Software will no doubt be very happy. Their Steam service managed to have over 5 million concurrent users during the Christmas holidays.
No doubt the holidays with tons of discounts and the immense success of Skyrim on Steam had something to do with it.
Skyrim has become the fastest selling game on the download service and managed to stay well ahead of both Counter-Strike and Team Fortess 2.
In total Steam now has 35 million users and over 1800 games to choose from.
