Steve Jobs call Robbie Bach inebriated

Posted on Thursday, 24 January 2008 by Speed, source: CNBC
CNBC had a chat with Apple's Steve Jobs which was pretty nice until they told Jobs about a quote from Microsoft's Head of Entertainment & Devices Division, Robbie Bach:

I told Jobs that I had sat down with Microsoft's Robbie Bach last week at the Consumer Electronics Show. I mentioned that Bach was particularly optimistic about the new Zune, that it was now a worthy alternative to Apple's iPod.

Asked Jobs: "Was he inebriated? Do you even know anyone who owns a Zune?" Touched a nerve, I suppose.
Zune being a competitor to Apple's Ipod, I'm guessing that wasn't a smart thing to say to Jobs :)

Sadly Ipod is much more popular, but tbh, there are much better available products, by neither of the 2 big names...
