Stormrise patch canned
Posted on Thursday, 30 April 2009 by Speed, source: Stormrisers
The cost of testing and distribution of a patch seems to be so high these days that Creative Assembly has decided not to release a second patch for Stormrise.
The patch, which was supposed to fix a number of things including issues on balancing, camera and AI, will not be released as confirmed by a company representative to IncGamers:
Is the economic climate really so bad that companies can't fix issues on a product they've released due to cost, or is it just that now they've got a perfect scapegoat to not bother at all with it?
In any case: bad news as this opens the door for a ton of abuse and releases of unfinished products that won't even get improved over time anymore. The fact that development gets rushed and bugs make retail release is already bad enough, but no more patching afterwards makes it even worse.

"All we can say is that what's being said on the community forums is true and we're sorry we can't get the patch out."
The game was released only last month on X360 and PS3 with a release for PC still pending so it sounds pretty weird to hear a statement like this.
