Super Street Fighter IV announced, media inside
Capcom today officially announced Super Street Fighter IV, the game that was rumoured to be the announcement of the day.
A teaser site was already launched yesterday, but now we also have some more info and media at our disposal.
The game will have eight new playable characters including T. Hawk, Dee Jay and Juri. Next to them there are also some tweaks and upgrades that are based on community feedback, like an extra Ultra Combo for each character. You won't be able to play SSFIV online with the other versions of Street Fighter IV, but those that do already have the original get a bonus.
Super Street Fighter IV will appear Spring 2010 on X360 and PS3.
To be honest we find it a strange move from Capcom to release this title as retail while they just as easily could have delivered it as a simple download.
We've got screens of two of the characters, as well as a teaser trailer:

Such little upgrades and then making an "official game" of it.
However there was a Super Street Fighter 2 (and alpha, etc.), but it wassent in the time of downloads ;)
