Those amongst us that enjoy adventure games haven't had any new material come their way in a long while. After the successes of games like Myst and Riven things have been pretty quiet.
Today Microids changed all that by announcing they will be expanding the Syberia series with a third installment. As such the franchise, created by Benoît Sokal, is no rookie to the genre. In this third title the persona of Kate Walker will once again step into the limelight. After travelling through Syberia and Europe in the first two games our favorite lawyer will this time be traversing the edges of reality and imagination.
Both Playstation 3 and PC user can expect this new adventure game to launch in June 2010. Same as before the game will be real-time and fully 3D. A nice promise is the possibility to jointly finish levels online. This way PS3 and PC user will be able to cooperate online in the same game at the same time, an industry first, not to mention a first for the genre as well.
