Bethesda has updated the FAQ-section for its long-awaited roleplaying game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with the recommended and the minimum system requirements:

That's not too heavy if you ask me, as long as the game will run smoothly and will look decent enough on those minimum specs (what isn't always the case with most titles).

Oblivion should be out on PC (and Xbox 360) by the end of March and if you are scared of the graphics not turning out to be great on your machine then there is still the comfort of knowing that Captain Picard and Wonder Woman have lent their voices to the game and will surely 'elevate' the whole experience...
