THQ is hoping for 1 million subscribers
Danny Bilson, core games vice president at THQ is hoping that their MMORPG based upon the Warhammer 40.000 universe will attract 1 million players.
Reason for this bold statement? The game is very "WoW friendly", so they're hoping that a lot of World of Warcraft will get addicted to this new MMO.
Besides this he also said that we can expect the first real gameplay videos in less then six months.

"They've got 14 million players! Gimme a million and I'm good! We're real good at a million, right?" He added: "We don't need everybody to migrate. We just need some of them - and I'm full confident we're going to get them.
If Warhammer: Dark Millenium Online doesn't reach the 1 million subscribers limit, then it will be seen as an unsuccessful game, which is strange if you know that MMO's before WoW were doing just fine with "only" 200 - 300.000 subscribers.Besides this he also said that we can expect the first real gameplay videos in less then six months.
