THQ is shutting down Japan

Well, not the entire country of course.
THQ, the publisher that's recently been plagued with all but healthy financials, has decided to shut down its Japan operations as of February 29th, with all staff getting the boot.
THQ is now looking at partnerships with other companies for licensing disitribution of their games in the country.
The troubles of THQ are hitting Asia-Pacific hard, as also the company's Australian and Shanghai China offices are said to be downsized.
