THQ lays off Volition employees
THQ has confirmed to have laid off two third of all employees at Volition Inc., makers of f.i. Saints Row 2.
"Today we notified 86 of the 102 employees in the Volition quality assurance department that they will be let go," a THQ spokesman told Kotaku. "Our quality assurance will now be primarily conducted through THQ's centralized QA facilities, with a small staff remaining on-site in Champaign.
Volition is working on Red Faction: Guerrilla and Saints Row 3 but those games don't seem to be in jeopardy as of the 86 people "only" 39 were fulltime employees with the rest being temps.In other news:
