THQ publishing The Blob on Wii/DS
THQ has confirmed that they will publish a full game version of The Blob, an innovative, Dutch students project (free to download and play on PC). It's a weird title for now since it's not even a real translation of the original name (it would be called The Blob or maybe even The Blub then). The game lets you play as the Blob which can paint the whole town red... or in any colour you like.
IGN already has a preview up of the Wii version (in development at Blue Tongue), a DS version is in the works as well, being developed by Helixe Studio. These two games will offer more levels than the freeware PC version.
More info will be released of De Blob on the downscaled E3 event next week.
