THQ reveals its upcoming releases
Posted on Friday, 3 February 2012 by Speed, source: Businesswire
Is it me, or are THQ's financial woes making that their release schedule for 2012 seems quite low on quantity as well as quality?
In its latest financial, the troubled publisher has announced its release plans for the coming years and it looks like 2012 won't see all too much from them.
UFC Undisputed 3 is still scheduled for this month, but then we have to wait until June to see Darksiders 2. The end of this calendar year then will see the release of South Park: The Game and an annual version of their WWE series.
Then we already head to the end of THQ's Fiscal year 2013, which is the first quarter of 2013, and that will see 4A-Games' Metro: Last Light as well as Devil's Third released. THQ also noted that they have two yet unannounced titles planned for fiscal 2013 so we'll probably see and hear more about those during E3 at the latest.
For Fiscal 2014 and beyond the outlook seems better: a game by Turtle Rock, Dark Millennium Online, InSANE, Homefront 2, Patrice Désilets upcoming THQ game as well as four other unannounced THQ "core" titles.
So it seems that if THQ manages to remain alive, next year will see some interesting games arrive. 2012 on the other hand seems a bit thin.
