Team Bondi owes employees AU$1 million
Legal documents regarding the closure of Team Bondi have revealed that the studio owes its former employees no less than 1 million euros.
Fourty people are due to still receive 1.4 million Australian dollars which comes down to at least 1.600 dollar per person, but the boss himself apparently still should receive 102.000 dollar. Whether he deserves that money is of course another matter.
Team Bondi's reputation was severely damaged when it became clear the working conditions at the company were all but decent. After the news broke, publishers like Rockstar all pulled their hands from the studio, leaving them with no work.
Most employees are now working at KMM, a George Miller company, while Rockstar managed to keep the rights to L.A. Noire, allowing them to release a PC version later this year.
