Tech Time

Ok, we forgot to put up our Mid-Range Gaming System last week but I promise we'll make up for that this week :)

Anyway, you didn't think we would forget to post our Tech Time, now did you ?
  • According to Dailytech, AMD's socket754 will outlast the socket939. Apparently, 939 cpu's are supposed to be end of life by the end of this year, while 754 processors (sempron) will be shipped until the end of 2007. That is if AMD didn't make a mistake in their roadmap.
  • Dailytech is reporting that Antec has launched a new slimline case to replace the Minuet. The new case will be very originally called Minuet 300
  • Gideontech tested BFG's 7900GT 256MB Video Card and despite the fact that the first card they received was dead on arrival, they were still pretty fond of it
  • If you're looking for a Bluetooth desktop set, the Logitech MX5000 would be a logical choice, but Moditory did have some issues with it
  • PCPerspective have taken a look at the NZXT Lexa, a case I really tend to like and they seem to agree with me
  • Bjorn3D have checked out the Thermaltake Armor VA8000BWS Case and although it's quite heavy and has some sharp edges, they were overall impressed with it
