GRIN terminates staff and studios

Good news for unemployment offices as it seems they won't be out of a job anytime soon.

According to several sources, Terminator Salvation - The Videogame developer GRIN has laid off over 100 people.

GRIN, which has development offices in Sweden, Spain and Indonesia, is rumored to be in the process of shuttering its Gothenburg and Barcelona-based annexes. Layoffs at its headquarters in Stockholm are rumored to amount to nearly 30. That reduction in staff and studios is said to affect somewhere between 100 and 160 employees total.

GRIN has recently released Terminator Salvation - The Videogame but also Bionic Commando and Wanted: Weapons of Fate. The fact that people are being laid off isn't so special as several projects have ended, but closing entire studios gives a better view at things and it doesn't look good.

Economic crisis still hitting hard? Sure looks like it.
