Ladyluck Entertainment, a new developer/publisher has announced in cooperation with Tri Energy their first game : Terrawars: New York Invasion.

You play as John Armstrong, a young medical student, drafted in the National Guard during a world-wide invasion of extraterrestrial intellectuals. Your full team has been murdered and you are the only key to succes.

The strong points of the game: realistic modelled environments of New York City, intense combat with a wide variation of aliens and weapons and especially the low system requirements (if you could call this a strong point) :

Supported OS: Windows 98/98se/ME/2000/XP
CPU: P4 or equivalent Memory: 256 MB
Video: 64 MB DirectX 9.0 compatible pc
Sound Card: 16-bit DirectSound compatible sound card Multimedia: 4x CD-ROM or DVD drive
HD Space: 1.2 GB + windows swap file
Modem: 56k, LAN, or Broadband for multiplayer

So don't expect divine graphics. Whether this game is going to be succesful or not remains to be seen.

Watch the screens here.
