Test Drive Unlimited only low-priced in the US
A couple of days ago, Atari totally surprised us with a stunning low price for their next-gen racing title. (A price of $39,95 to be exact). They now came back on that announcement and told the European gamers that this price tag was only meant for the US version of the game.
I wonder (and I probably am not the only one), why can it be done in the US en not over here in Europe? Well, the game will be in shops on the 8th of September... It will be there for a real next-gen price too.
Representing a true evolution for the brand and the genre as a whole thanks to the Massively Open Online Racing (MOOR) concept, Atari will be releasing Test Drive Unlimited for the normal price across Europe.
Although it's likely to ignite some complaints, it's worth remembering that Test Drive Unlimited should represent a full-blown next-generation title in every sense of the word, and far more deserving of your hard-earned cash then certain other Xbox 1.5 titles we could mention.
