Not directly related to the Spike VGA's, Bioware has released a gameplay trailer showing off some space mission gameplay.

The space missions are the worst part of the old republic, if they had left them out they would not have been missed.

The commentator mentions the enemy ship AI, there is no enemy ship AI, the ships they appear at a certain time, follow a certain pattern and leave, unless destroyed. You have limited control over your own ship movement, you can only move around the screen a little bit, but you can not control the direction you fly in. The only thing you do have full control of, is your weapons.

As it's the end of the year and if there was a vote for the worst part of a MMO of the year, the space missions in TOR would certainly be up for that award, myself I would award it to them. Apart from that, I did enjoy the beta and I still have my pre-order for it.
