The Old Republic to use microtransactions?

It seems that LucasArts and Bioware Corp. will be using microtransactions as one of the ways to fund the upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic.
The guys from MMORPG have sifted through the terms of service of the recently announced beta program and they've found the following:

(H) You acknowledge and agree that all points acquired during the Game program are non-refundable and have no monetary value.
(I) You acknowledge and agree that all items acquired for points during the Game Program are non-refundable and non-tradable.
(J) You acknowledge and agree that BWA reserves the right to add or remove points from your account at any time and without warning.
(K) You acknowledge and agree that BWA reserves the right to change/add/remove points rewarded in the Game store at any time and without warning.
This indeed sounds a lot like microtransactions but who would be surprised of such a thing these days?(I) You acknowledge and agree that all items acquired for points during the Game Program are non-refundable and non-tradable.
