The Shadow of Aten revealed

The end of another day, and a new next-generation title is revealed. This time we're talking about an action/adventure, called The Shadow of Aten.

The game is in development at the Spanish company Silicon Garage Arts. For now it'll be released only on PC and Xbox360, somewhere near the end of 2007. A publisher still needs to be found by then though. The theme is set in 1930, where the main character Allen Scott investigates the remains of Ancient Egypt.

The Shadow of Aten is set in the attractive and ambiguous environment of Egypt in the 1930s , full of mysteries, dazzling treasures, half-truths and hidden dangers.

The elaborate plot is based on real facts about the worship of the god Aten, the first monotheism of mankind.

Since it is an adventure game, I would expect the game to look a bit shit. I wish developers of adventure games in general would go with high-end graphics sometimes.
