The Sims stamps in France

EA has announced that The Sims will be getting their own stamp in France. La Poste will be printing 3 million of these as part of their "Heroes of Videogames" series, in which 10 of the biggest Games Heroes are depicted.

More info can be found on their website (http://timbres.laposte.fr/eng/) showing stamps with Mario, Lara Croft, Donkey Kong, Pacman and Link. Chauvinist as they are there's also Prince of Persia and Rayman on offering.

"From fashion to food, history to heraldry, the French have always been cultural tastemakers," said EA's Chief Creative Officer Bing Gordon. "We thank them not only for commemorating The Sims with an official postage stamp, but also for making it one of the top ten most celebrated entertainment products in France-Merci!'"

A complete set will cost a little under 3 euro's.
