The end for PSP Go?

It seems Sony Entertainment has pulled the plug on the PSP Go to prepare for the launch of the NGP.
Andriasang is reporting that Sony Japan's store has stopped selling the portable while CVG has word from a UK retail source that Sony has ceased production of the handheld.
Sony themselves commented on the matter but rather vaguely:
