The top 100 pc games of the 21st century

Lists, everybody loves them! And the good thing is, you can keep changing your mind about what's in it. Next-gen thinks the same way and has made a list with the best pc games since January 1, 2000. Only the number of sold units where taken into count, so we see some weird stuff in there.

You can find the complete list here (just like a list with the 100 best console games and handheld games), but we'll just put the top ten of pc games here:

1. The Sims
2. Diablo II
3. World of Warcraft
4. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
5. Zoo Tycoon
6. Sim City 3000 Unlimited
7. Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos
8. Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
9. Medal of Honour: Allied Assault
10. Age of Mythology

It's clear the sales figures aren't always linked to the quality of a game. Harry Potter anyone?

It is based purely on sales, so yea the Sims would be up there. Interesting how all 3 of blizzards most recent games are in the top 10. Almost all of them are RTS/RPG, except for Medal of Honour.

Diablo II ftw!!! I still play it sometimes, just made a singing barbarian. Sims? Well, it tells you enough about the world we live in. But this century is still young, lets wait up until 2101:)
