“We have had only one per cent of [Tiger Woods owners] call our customer service line to report an issue,” Tiffany Steckler, director of European corporate communications, told MCV. “It’s a small number if people that’s been affected, but we thought it was better to exchange copies all at once.”

Steckler described the problem as an “unprecedented disc production issue,” but insisted EA was doing everything in its power to fix and reissue the title to minimise the impact on Tiger Woods fans.
