Tomb Raider Anniversary in episodes on X360

Eidos announced today that Tomb Raider anniversary will be available for Xbox360 owners in episodes.

Those who own a copy of Tomb Raider: Legend on Xbox360 will be able to download the episodes starting September. Episode 1&2 can be bought in September together with a free training level and the other two episodes will follow soon after.

Later this year the retail version will be available, without the requirement to own Legend.

Jane Cavanagh, chief executive of Eidos' parent company SCi, said the episodic approach was part of the publisher's strategy to grow its presence in online and digital distribution.

The price: 2400 points, that's about €28.
