Tribes: Vengeance mp demo instead of mp beta
On the TribalWar-forums Vivendi/Universal stated that once the multiplayer demo of Tribes: Vengeance is released the multiplayer beta of the game will be shut down. In this way there will be no 'split' of servers (although it's weird that there would be anyone who's willing to provide a server for a bugged beta when there are bugfree equilavents).
The demo will be roughly the same size as the multiplayer beta (around 460 MB). It won't be an exclusive and thus will be made avalaible to lots of mirrors. A BitTorrent client for this demo should release also.
Somewhere before the release of the game the multiplayer demo should have been put online. Thanks Blues.
