Turok also going for the UE3 treatment

Posted on Tuesday, 27 September 2005 by Ryuken, source: VoodooExtreme
Buena Vista Games has announced that the new Turok game will utilise the Unreal Engine 3 as the first of BVG's next-gen projects.

This Turok is in development at Propaganda Games but not much is known about the content, an exact title or even the target platforms (for the latter only 'next-generation' seems the clearest answer). Here follows a statement of Mark Rein, the frontman of Epic Games which develop and hand out UE3.

Mark Rein, vice president and co-founder of Epic Games said, "BVG has some awesome IP to work with and we feel privileged to contribute to its success. It's great to be working with the Propaganda Games team, an amazingly talented group of people, and with a management team that appreciates the importance of providing its teams with the best tools and technology to help them deliver. We have no doubt that BVG will be one of the big success stories of the next generation.
I think Mark has said this a lot in the previous months. You can almost start to wonder which 'next-gen' project isn't going to use the Unreal Engine 3.

Hehe, it's always funny to read about Mark:p

U3E is a great and affordable choice for any developer who wants to make a new game.

Compared to spending 3-4 years of developing an engine, it is really cheap :)
