UK Charts: Kane & Lynch blow Toy Story to pieces
There's another new top title released and that results in another new top title taking the lead in the UK Sales Charts. How quickly people turn their attention elsewhere ;)
This week's new number one is IO Interactive's Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days so Square-Enix will no doubt be happy that the two guncrazy hoodlums kick the living daylights out of Toy Story 3 (2nd place). They have to watch out though, as a few weeks ago Starcraft 2 did the same, only to see Buzz and Woody take control again a week later and Blizzard's PC RTS isn't even in the Top20 anymore!
For the rest we see mild changes in the ranking. Red Dead Redemption drop to three while Harry Potter remains steady at four. Just Dance switches place with Art Academy (5 and 6) while Super Mario Galaxy 2 jumps up to seventh spot again.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands makes a nice leap from 19 to 8 while Dance on Broadway drops from 3 to 9. Broadway clearly isn't what it used to be.
Bad Company 2 re-enters the Top10 while Modern Warfare 2 tries to soften the pill of dropping from 8 to 18 by having Activision announce it's the best-selling title of all time in the UK charts.
