UK Charts: Modern Warfare 3 shatters the battlefield
We said it would shake things up and we were right. Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has arrived and immediately takes the top spot in the UK Sales charts. Activision will be happy with that, even if the game didn't manage to outsell Black Ops in its first week.
Second place this week goes to Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which comes in new as well and kicks EA's Battlefield 3 to third place.
Worth noting: on PC, Skyrim actually managed to come in new at the top spot, leaving Modern Warfare 3 in second place!
FIFA 12 also sees a minor drop while Just Dance 3 again manages to hold onto its fifth place, just like last week. The Brits sure must like dancing!
Uncharted 3 doesn't do good business as Drake's third drops from 2 to 6 while Mind Candy's Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo comes in new at 7. Moshi Monsters??? Never even heard of it!
At 8 we find back Batman: Arkham City, followed by Zumba Fitness at 9 and Wii Party at 10.
