The UK Sales Charts are in and it should come as no surprise that Red Dead Redemption has taken the lead. Even better, Gfk Chart Track director Dorian Bloch told CVG that the game is the best-selling title this year so far and is selling best on Xbox360:
I guess people do prefer the better graphics on 360 over the exclusive content the PS3 version has to offer. Or it could of course have something to do with recent PS3 shortages.

In any case, EA's 2010 World Cup South Africa didn't manage to keep the lead and dropped to second place, giving Microsoft's Alan Wake such a blow to the face that it dropped to 8. Damn, that's a big drop!

At 3 we see Just Dance climbing up again, coming from 4 which is now occupied by Wii Fit Plus which also made a remarkable recovery from last week's 9th position.

Disney's arcade racer Split/Second: Velocity enters new at 5 while Bad Company 2 remains steady in sixth place.

In seventh position we find back Lost Planet 2 which dropped from 3 while Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and Modnation Racers arrive at 9 and 10 respectively for their first week in the charts.
