Ubi games withdrawn from Steam UK, not due to DRM

Ubisoft Entertainment won't be selling Assassins Creed 2 or Silent Hunter 5 in the UK through Steam anymore. Both games have been delisted and according to Ubisoft Entertainment, it's due to some business discussion between Ubi and Steam in the UK.

Previous rumours hinted that the removal might have something to do with Ubisoft's latest DRM scheme, something Valve's Gabe Newell isn't fond of:

'The games listed are available for sale in all other countries on Steam. The fact they are not available on Steam UK has nothing to do with the DRM - but is linked to a local business discussion between Ubisoft and Steam in UK.'
