UbiSoft to open Toronto studio, looking for 800 employees

Publisher Ubisoft Entertainment announced its plans to open a large new development studio in Canada. The brand new studio would find a home in Toronto, Ontario.

The Canadian government is investing 263 million Canadian dollars on top of the 500 million Ubisoft is pouring into the project itself. This way they hope to create 800 jobs in the region which is suffering hard and has been loosing jobs for quite some time now.

"Toronto's unique pool of experienced video game and film industry talent will allow us to develop a team with exceptional ability to help us realize our goals for creating brands with universal appeal that extend beyond the world of video games."
