Ubisoft: delayed games will be delayed again

Delayed but not for fear of competition

In an interview, Ubisoft's CEO, Yves Guillemot, stated he believes many of the games that were pushed back to the first quarter of next year due to the "crowded season", will be pushed back again. Why? Well, the first quarter of 2010 has now suddenly become... crowded.

Well, now we have a situation where there are a lot of good games due for release in the first half of next year, but I think some publishers will move again. The first quarter of 2010 is looking pretty crazy. So I expect some movement from the other players – some of those delayed games will be moved again.

And so games get delayed and delayed and delayed. One thing's for sure: devs and publishers will definitely not have any excuse to have remaining bugs left in their titles!
