Ubisoft removes Darkworks from I Am Alive, project goes in-house
Posted on Friday, 6 March 2009 by daffeh, source: GameIndustry.biz
I Am Alive, the disaster game that was set to be released in the coming weeks but got a major delay to 'somewhere in the next financial year' just suffered another uppercut, or hasn't it?
Ubisoft announced that they are pulling the project from developer Darkworks and are finishing the project in-house at their Ubisoft Shanghai offices.
That doesn't sound too positive at first but when you read the whole thing over at Games Industry.biz it may seem like this has been the plan for quite some time as the two developers have been working closely together over the past year.
No information on the cause of the switch other than 'to respect new deadlines' has been given nor is there any information to be found on the future of Darkworks.
