Ubisoft teams up with 1C for Faces of War
Posted on Wednesday, 19 October 2005 by Speed, source: Fragland.net
Ubisoft has sent out a press release, letting the world know that they've signed a deal with 1C Company to publish Best Way's (Soldiers: Heroes of World War II) Faces of War for PC.
The PC RTS game is set for release in March 2006
Faces of War thrusts gamers into the decisive battles of World War II in Europe. Players command American, English, Soviet and German troops while fighting famous conflicts such as the Normandy Invasion, the Battle of the Bulge or the Battle of Berlin in shocking detail. Thanks to complex artificial intelligence, soldiers don’t simply execute any order given by a player, they think about how to do it in the most efficient and safe way. Faces of War takes combat gaming to a new level by integrating a psychological element.

Best Way who is developing Faces of War, has made one game in the past, which was Soldiers: Heroes of World War II. Actually a WW2 game that I enjoyed, I must admit - due to the very cool 'first-person control' and RPG features they had implemented in it.
But anyway, I don't think this game will have much to offer, seeing that the release date is March 2006. That means that it will be left in the shadows of Relic's upcoming WW2 RTS, Company of Heroes.
