Despite the recent closure of Legend Entertainment by Atari, the Unreal II: XMP community remains strong. During the months leading up to and following the release of XMP, a group XMP beta testers and community members have been working on a pack consisting of top-notch third-party XMP maps and mutators. Now, the time has come to put these maps to the test. On Friday, January 30th 2004, at 9PM GMT (4PM EST), a public BETA version of the Community Bonus Pack will be available to download at the new home of the Community Bonus Pack: www.u2xmp.com/cbp/.
XMP fans are invited to join the mappers and programmers behind the Community Bonus Pack in IRC in #BeyondUnreal on IRC.EnterTheGame.com and #U2XMP on IRC.ProGamePlayer.com in the time leading up to the release of the BETA.

Players and server admins are reminded that this BETA version does not contain all of the content planned for the full version of the Community Bonus Pack, which is due to be released in early February 2004.
