Unreal Engine Security Loopholes

The Unreal graphics engine contains security loopholes that could cause players to be exposed to DoS and DDoS attacks. They also run the risk of having malicious code being executed on their computers. Epic Games Vice President Mark Rein acknowledged the vunerablities discovered by network security company PivX Solutions. Games using the Unreal engine include Unreal Tournament 2003, Deus Ex 2, and Duke Nukem Forever. Rein states his company is working on a patch that will solve the issues for UT 2003.
