Uwe Boll gives up on big budget movies

He's still going to rape this one
Uwe Boll, the man that happily rapes all games-going-to-the-big-screen, has informed the world that he's finished with big budget movies. This thanks to the failure of his latest one, In The Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale failing entirely. This movie cast around 70 million dollars and in its first weekend only managed to bring in $3 million.

Uwe does try to dress up things a bit by stating he wants to go back to his true passion, the small movie:

"In the future, I will focus on small films such as (the video game adaptation) 'Postal' or (the Vietnam war drama) 'Tunnel Rats.' These are films that represent my true passion, and they can be done with small budgets," Boll told the Hollywood Reporter.
His previous films, Bloodrayne and House of the Dead also flopped, but then he was abusing German law and tax liberties to keep producing. Now that those advantages have been killed by the German government the director is suddenly feeling more for the "small film".

It's taken a bit too long but... well done Germany!

The real reason for him giving up is more likely to be that no1 wants to damage their own career by working with a sure failure like him...

After bragging about how First Sunday was a "Piece of shit" and "In The Name of The King will stay on the top ten for 3 weeks & get at least 50% positive reviews. His prediction back-fired and slapped him senselessly. 3 million dollars in it's first weekend? It didn't even crack the top ten after the first week for gods sake. Its time for this dude to just turn around and walk towards another career.
