Uwe Boll makes deal: 3 movies to theatres

'Movie director' Uwe Boll has concluded an agreement with Freestyle Releasing, in which it's agreed that three movies of Boll will be brought to the movie theatres: In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, Postal and Seed. The latter one isn't a game adaption, but a 'normal' movie.

Freestyle will distribute Postal first, despite Dungeon Siege being filmed first. Postal -- starring Zack Ward, Dave Foley, Chris Coppola and Boll himself -- will drop September 28. Postal will only open to 500 screens on opening day, with its growth dependent on the film's box office reception. Given the amount of controversy the film could draw, that might not be very difficult for Boll.

Dungeon Siege has a more known cast and will therefore be shown in 2500 theatres on the first day. A nice extra for Boll. His third movie will be released next year.
