Well well well, it seems like people over at Valve haven't learned their lessons in customer care and contact.

In a little post on the forum they mention this:

It's not necessary to submit a support ticket for this issue. Our official stance has been posted many times.

Steam for Linux

The next person who posts a new thread on this issue will be banned.

I suppose it's fair. If someone really wants something and if the first thing they had done was NOT to check if it already exists or is in development, then they should be banned. Ignorance is not an excuse for being an annoying prick :P

Maybe when the first guy gets banned, people will stop behaving like baboons.
