Valve favouring Xbox 360 over PS3
While still being a PC developer in the first place, Valve Software seems to be dropping, or at least postponing, its development for Sony's Playstation 3. In an interview with 1UP Valve's Gabe Newell stated that the recent Team Fortress 2 PC updates that are confirmed to debut soonish on the Xbox 360 will not come to the PS3 any time soon.
To that statement Doug Lombardi also added that there isn't much chance they ever will since Valve apparantly doesn't do any PS3 development themselves. The TF2 port was handled by EA and they aren't doing any development on those updates at the moment.

"For The Orange Box, EA did the PS3 version. They're interested in getting a PS3 version done. We just have to figure out where the resources can come from. We don't have the bandwidth. We're doing the 360 and PC version ourselves."
Newell did say that they would eventually start developing for the PS3 when they have more 'bandwidth' available....
