Vanguard: Saga of Heroes gets a make over

Sony Online Entertainment is busy at work on making Vanguard: Saga of Heroes a beautiful mmorpg. The biggest issue was the performance on the player his computer. SOE decided to rework all the graphical assets and optimize them so that several areas will not only look better but also have a better framerate. The first to go was the harborcity called Khal.

Because they reworked several NPC's by deleting useless bones and are using complete new programs the framerate for several users has doubled. You can see the difference in graphics in the newspost on the official website.

The city of Khal , an oasis of sorts in the northern sands of Qalia, has always been a magnificent, bustling city. The Vanguard art team has been working diligently to ensure that Khal is properly represented as the "jewel of the desert" that it should be. In the second half of Game Update 3, players will be able to experience the city of Khal in a whole new light!

Currently the graphics are been tested on the test server, but in a couple of weeks it should go official and be released on the normal servers.
