Both the Florida Attorney General's Office and the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office have been asked to investigate whether a top-selling video game that advises players to "kill the Haitians" violates state law.

A spokeswoman for Attorney General Charlie Crist said Tuesday a complaint about the game, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, has been referred to the agency's Office of Civil Rights.

Delray Beach City Commissioner Jon Levinson said he forwarded information about the game to a friend who works for State Attorney Barry Krischer.

"To me it sounds like this has got to be against the law," Levinson said. "To tell people to kill a particular group of people? That has to violate some law."
