WH40k: Dawn of War - Winter Assault expansion
The succesful sci-fi RTS Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War will get its expansion as expected by many people.
Winter Assault is the albeit strange title and the most important feature seems to be the new race; The Imperial Guard. In the originale game you also had a chance to play with a couple of these chaps but now they will be present in full force. Their infantery looks weak but when you see these monsters of war (privilege of fansite RelicNews) it's a completely different story.
News about new units for the existing races or something about the storyline has not yet been revealed. Relics general manager Ron Moravek sounds optimistisc though (as if we would have expected otherwise):
Hopefully they do make work of that singleplayer campaign since the Dawn of War campaign was a bit of a letdown.
A release is planned for this fall.

"The response to Dawn of War has been overwhelming. Combining the enthusiasm we're seeing from the fans with the ability to draw from the seemingly endless, rich content from the Warhammer 40,000 universe made the decision to create an expansion easy. We look forward to building on the Dawn of War franchise with even more visceral combat action throughout both the single and multi-player experiences."
